  1. Roughly ten feet. You need to support the fencing so that it doesn’t sag very much.

  2. ours are 8 to 10 feet apart

  3. What type of fence – do you mean the temporary plastic posts or the real wooden ones ?
Our permanent fence posts are about 9ft apart and we have 1 strand of high tensile about half way down and white tape at the top. It was originally set up by a professional stock fencing contractor and cost a fortune.
The temporary ones are usually closer together because they’re so much shorter and lean over easily, about 6 ft when we use them.

  4. About 8 to 10 feet according to the manufacturer of the electric fence my aunt got.

  5. When I use tape to keep it nice and straight I go about 10-12 feet apart.

For the wire about 18-20 feet.

It is really a personal preference and how much money you have available to work with the fencing.

My Hotwire is always 3 – 4 strands and no less that 4 1/2 to 5 feet high.
